Mike Spivey's Monthly Business Report — February, 2007

Brothers and Sisters,

Augusta:

Columbia Mechanical is signatory with Local 85. They have employed three of our members; these members are currently working on a project in Las Vegas. Columbia Mechanical is pursuing a lot of work in the Augusta area.

Kirk and Blum is working on a job in Warrenton; they have hired six of our members to work on this project.

Plant Vogtle:

There will a 40-day outage starting in early March; this outage will take up to sixteen men.

Plant Hatch:

The Plant is currently in a 24-day outage and working eighteen men. The guys are doing a great job and we appreciate their efforts.

Savannah:

Alloy Mechanical’s workload has been steady and we are looking at the possibility of starting a satellite apprenticeship program in this area.

Plant Harley Branch:

The Plant will be undergoing several major projects during the spring of this year.

As earlier reported we regained the Bellows work which was being performed by the pipefitters, we are proud to have this work and look forward to the job opportunities that it will create.
